Since 1991, Erika Baking Equipment, formerly known as Erika Record Baking Equipment and often recognized by the Erika Record name, has been dedicated to enabling and empowering bakers and the business of baking.
1991
Erika Baking Equipment is established by Max Oehler. The company initially began by selling our flagship, Erika Record divider/rounders. Our offerings would quickly expand to include other lines of equipment and services such as equipment repair.
2005
In 2005, Erika Baking Equipment moved to its Clifton, New Jersey facility, expanding its ability to support bakers with commercial bakery equipment sales, service, parts, demonstrations, and technical support.
2012
Erika Baking Equipment opens a fully functional showroom and test bakery in its auxiliary building. Known as the Baker’s Lab, this space gives customers a hands-on environment to explore, test, and learn about commercial bakery equipment before purchasing.
2015
In 2015, ownership of Erika Baking Equipment transitioned to Daniel DaRocha, who became company president and continued Erika’s commitment to helping bakers choose the right commercial bakery equipment, service, parts, and production support.
2020
In 2020, Erika Baking Equipment began a new chapter by moving from its former Clifton, New Jersey location to a larger facility in West Caldwell, New Jersey. The expanded space strengthened Erika’s ability to support retail, wholesale, industrial, and commissary bakeries with commercial bakery equipment demonstrations, service, parts, technical support, and hands-on guidance.
2025
Erika Baking Equipment completes a brand evolution and website relaunch, strengthening its digital presence while honoring the company’s Erika Record legacy. The refreshed brand reflects Erika’s continued commitment to helping retail, in-store, wholesale, industrial, and commissary bakeries choose the right commercial bakery equipment, service, parts, and production support.
