This website Return Policy is intended as general public guidance only. It does not replace or supersede the terms listed on a customer’s quote, invoice, purchase order, manufacturer documentation, signed agreement, or other applicable sales document.

1. Return Authorization Required
-
Do not ship equipment or parts back to Erika Baking Equipment unless the return has been approved in writing.
Unauthorized returns may be refused, returned to the sender, or not processed. Approved returns may be subject to restocking fees, shipping charges, return freight costs, packaging costs, inspection costs, or other related expenses. Unless otherwise stated in writing, the customer is responsible for shipping-related costs.
-
2. Equipment Returns
-
Return eligibility for equipment is determined by the customer’s quote, invoice, purchase order, manufacturer documentation, or other applicable sales documents.
Commercial bakery equipment may be ordered, configured, shipped, or documented based on the specific equipment type, customer requirements, production application, manufacturer terms, and project scope. Because of this, equipment returns are handled on a case-by-case basis and may be limited or unavailable depending on the applicable sales documents.
Equipment that has been installed and put into service cannot be returned.
Accepted equipment returns may be subject to a restocking fee, and the customer is responsible for shipping-related costs unless otherwise stated in writing.
-
3. Erika-Manufactured Parts
-
Returns are only accepted for eligible Erika-manufactured parts according to Erika’s return policy and only when approved in writing.
Accepted Erika-manufactured parts returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Electronic parts are non-returnable.
Erika-manufactured parts may only be returned within 90 calendar days of the original shipping date.
Installed parts cannot be returned.
The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
Returned parts must be properly packaged and received in resalable condition.
-
4. Non-Erika Parts
-
Parts for other manufacturers are generally considered special order. Erika Baking Equipment does not accept returns on non-Erika parts.
Returns are only accepted for eligible Erika-manufactured parts according to Erika’s return policy.
-
5. Restocking Fees and Shipping Costs
-
Approved returns may be subject to restocking fees, shipping charges, return freight costs, packaging costs, inspection costs, or other related expenses.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the customer is responsible for shipping-related costs. Shipping charges are not guaranteed to be refundable.
-
6. Freight Damage and Shipping Issues
-
Freight damage, shipping damage, missing items, and delivery issues are handled separately from ordinary product return eligibility.
Customers should receive, inspect, and document shipments in accordance with Erika Baking Equipment’s shipping and receiving instructions. Customers should inspect shipments upon delivery and report visible damage, concealed damage, missing items, or delivery concerns as soon as possible.
Photos, packaging, delivery documents, carrier paperwork, and other records may be needed to help evaluate a freight or shipping claim.
Do not discard packaging, crate materials, pallets, delivery paperwork, or damaged items until Erika Baking Equipment or the carrier has provided further instruction.
-
7. Warranty, Defective Items, Incorrect Items, and Service Claims
-
Warranty claims, defective items, incorrect items, missing items, service claims, and freight or shipping damage are handled separately from ordinary return eligibility.
If you believe an item is defective, incorrect, missing, damaged in transit, or covered by a warranty, please contact Erika Baking Equipment before attempting a return.
Erika will review the issue based on the applicable invoice, manufacturer documentation, warranty terms, shipping documents, support records, service process, and other relevant information.
-
8. Cancellations, Deposits, and Order Changes
-
Order cancellations, deposits, and changes to an order may be governed by the customer’s quote, invoice, purchase order, manufacturer requirements, or other applicable sales documents.
Customers should contact Erika Baking Equipment as soon as possible if they need to discuss an order change or cancellation request. Approval is not guaranteed and may depend on the status of the order, manufacturer requirements, equipment configuration, parts ordering, production status, shipping status, or other applicable terms.
